Located just 5 minutes from the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River, our 34 beautiful wooded acres are centered around the quietly rolling Long Creek and surrounded by the Sumter National Forest in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains.
The Chattooga River Lodge is a 4500 sqft post and beam structure with indoor and outdoor stages, a marble tiled courtyard with a tiki bar, stacked stone fire pit, a luxury bathhouse, and nine adjoining cozy guest rooms. Coming soon, the lodge will be home to Willie's Tavern, a Long Creek destination with a full service bar, dinner menu, live music and more.
Across the field from the lodge, and just past our natural ampitheatre (see Events!), you'll find 8 wooded, rustic RV campsites with 20/30/50 amp electric and water hookups. These are not your standard, boring concrete pad RV sites. Each site is unique and offers a true camping experience for your smaller RV, campervan, or trailer. Every site comes with a picnic table and fire ring, and local firewood is available onsite.
And the creek! Hike down one of our two hillside trails, or drive a short bit down the road to our primitive campsites nestled along the incredibly beautiful Long Creek, our town's namesake. We offer 18 sites with a variety of features, from private but budget friendly wooded sites, to superb creekside sites with shelter and electricity, All sites offer a picnic table, fire pit, and access to our lower campground bathhouse.
